RIYADH: Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman announced the launch of HUMAIN, a new AI company owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), on Monday.
HUMAIN will focus on advancing artificial intelligence by investing across the entire AI value chain and offering services such as advanced AI models, Arabic large language models (LLMs), next-generation data centers, and cloud capabilities.
Chaired by the Crown Prince, HUMAIN aims to enhance human capabilities and drive innovation in the digital economy, serving both regional and global markets.
The launch supports Saudi Arabia's vision to become a global leader in AI and digital technologies.
HUMAIN will contribute to strategic sectors such as energy, healthcare, manufacturing, and financial services, while developing local innovation and streamlining data center projects.
The Kingdom’s AI strategy has earned global recognition, ranking Saudi Arabia as a leader in the Global AI Index 2024.
The company will foster international partnerships, attract top talent, and support the Kingdom’s ambitions for data and AI leadership.
